Line and Wrinkle Treatments

Anti-wrinkle treatments are a convenient alternative to surgery, it is possible to use injections to reduce and relax frown lines, forehead lines and laughter lines around the eyes. The benefits are visible within 7 to 10 days of treatment and results typically last for three to four months. Anti-wrinkle treatments will give the face a smoother, more rested appearance, and as it's a preventative treatment, repeat injections over time will mean you'll need fewer visits.

We have established a gentle, and ethical approach to facial rejuvenation. When it comes to anti-wrinkle treatments, we believe that less is definitely more and that a small dose, expertly administered, can delivery impressive, natural-looking results.

The benefits of anti-wrinkle treatments

Anti-wrinkle treatments are known to help your body ‘naturally’ retrain itself to help further reduce such things as frown lines. When injected, the muscles are temporarily immobilised which means that you will not be using those muscles that form the face into a frown. As a pleasant side effect of this, tension headaches and migraines will be reduced as well.

After an initial consultation, you will be given an appointment for your injections. The actual ‘procedure’ only takes about five minutes. We will ask you to frown so that we can assess your muscle activity and depth of lines produced.

It takes up to 14 days days to become effective and at this time you will notice that it is getting increasingly hard to frown. Most people frown without even noticing they are frowning, so our treatments help to correct this inadvertent reflex.

What can be achieved with anti-wrinkle treatments?

Dermal filler treatment

When injected with a very fine needle into the crease line, the gel creates volume under the wrinkles, lifting up and smoothing out lines. As we get older our skin loses moisture, and we see lines and wrinkles develop. Hyaluronic Acid is the substance naturally present in our cells which keeps the skin smooth and supple, along with collagen and elastin. An injection of Hyaluronic Acid can restore skin volume and reduce wrinkles. The gel breaks down naturally over a period of 5 to 12 months.

The Dermal fillers we offer are all of non-animal origin, requiring no skin test prior to injection. So it is possible to go ahead immediately in the same session as your consultation. You will see the results instantly.

Prices start from £250.

Why dermal fillers?

Each Dermal Filler is priced differently. The price depends on the grade of the filler for the depth of the wrinkle and the amount of gel in the syringe. We always use a topical anaesthetic cream in all cases, even though the syringes contain Lidocaine, which is an anesthetic. The experience, skill and creativity of the injector is vital to achieving the optimum results with minimal discomfort.

Allow 45 minutes for a session of treatment.
